Do All Posts Really Need A Title?
I can see not many people were impressed by the video of the home built fully automatic lawn mower.
I was impressed. I think that video could change my life forever. Lawn mowing sounds a lot more appealing if all I have to do is hang out under the tree with a beer while I watch my home built robot go around in circles.
Then I can laugh at the neighbors. They all said it could not be done. That I could not build an automatic lawn mowing robot. It was impossible! A fool's errand.
Ill show them. Ill show them all.
Or not. The yard is really not that big. And there is crap in the yard that will make building the contraption more trouble than it is worth. With the trees and bird bath and shit - there is no place for the center pole. The circles would have to be pretty small.
So maybe it would not save any labor at all. It might actually require more labor.
And now....VISTA NEWS!!!!!!
Adobe Photoshop 7.0 runs under Vista. This is good news.
In fact, so far Vista seems to be working better than expected. I still can not seem to get the wireless printer to connect, but other than that it has been crash free.

Sometimes these good ideas end up being a pain in the ass.
Our OS is kinda old but still does what we need, although I did switch to that Firefox for internet.
I have a robot named Tyrone who mows my yard. He may not think of himself as a robot of course.
Fuzz - if the yard were larger and more open it would be worth it. But it is not. Oh well - this is exactly the kind of project that I could get into.
TLP - Is his name really "Tyrone"??
My son is thinking of downgrading to XP. He hates Vista. I have XP on my computer, but it is an older one. The computer I have Vista on is glitchy and I only have it around for backup purposes.
All I run is Firefox. Office, and Photoshop anyway. Vista is OK for me.
So far.
